Marvel Conundrum

In the Previous post where I was exclaiming my hope and joy for Black Panther, I made a little aside about my dismay for Marvel Movies. I have several problems with Marvels cinematic universe as it relates to certain directors and the overall theme of most of their movies.

Most people love movies like Thor, and Spider Man, and The Avengers and Captain America. I... just can't walk in that same love, as much as I would love to. I dislike the marvel cinematic universe and most of their movies because most of the one that I mentioned above have such a childish and overly playful theme. Look, I'm not the biggest party pooper of 2017, but constantly shoving humor into someones face makes a movie not funny, but annoying. The movies hat I mentioned have an overhaul of humor and bright playful colors and graphics, which make it very hard to take their movies seriously. The target audience seems to be the children, which isn't horrible, but it does spit in the face of the Young Adults and Old geezers from the 23-85 yr old range. Why? Because those are the HARDCORE fans who lived and breathed Marvel comics as youngsters. Marvel would be so much more dope if they stop trying to please youth and actually went for the hardcore fans. If they followed the comics and gave it a serious tone. It all just seems so fabricated. Im a big fan of substance and reliability. So I have HUGE hopes for Black Panther, Directed by Ryan Coogler.
